As of yesterday our garage holds a 2005 WRX and 2003 Mini Cooper S.

Five years ago while we were living in NZ we saw the mini at a BMW dealer. My wife told me I had to buy one for her on her 30th birthday. We've joked about it ever since. Well, she needed a new car, and its almost her birthday, so we're now part of the community!

We haven't driven it a whole lot yet, but that is just a matter of time.
The car is pretty new to us so I'm sure we'll have plenty of questions.

Sorry, details. The car is black. Very black. Very sweet 6 speed transmission (puts the WRX to shame), sun roof, and things we're yet to discover....

Welcome to NAM, NZ!! That's great that the wife got her MINI! Ask all the questions you want, but I recommend using the search function first...there is a ton of helpful info floating around here.

 

Congratulations! So where are you guys now? Be sure to check out the regional forums here; there's probably a MINI club nearby.

 

We're in Phoenix and on our last drive through Sedona we noticed 10-15 minis out there together. We now have to share the time between the WRX and the mini, both are pretty fun cars.
