New Member and New Mini 2006

I'm a newbie plus I just received the production number for my 2006 MCS, 6 Speed with JCW Tuning Kit (+) JCW Sports Suspension, JCW 18" Star Spoke Wheels, and Auxilliary gages.

It's scheduleded for build (production) the week of 3 October 2005 and should be delivered in or around the end of October 2005. Oh, I'm living and working for the U.S. Military here in Germany, so shipping time isn't as long as it is for folks back in the good old U.S. of A.

I'm really looking forward to driving it here in Germany on the autobahns.

OK folks, I'm officially part of the "Mini World" and I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone on line. Hooah !

More Later,

Cecil

Welcome Aboard! Congrats on your order....The wait time will hopefully go by quicker now that you've found us here on NAM....

And let me say, as a Military Brat, I appreciate what you do for us overseas. Thank you for your service....

Did you go through Pentagon? Can I ask what you paid? I'm guessing invoice or a little less? I won't be there until '07 and don't think I can wait that long, unless the price is that much cheaper. Enjoy your time in Germany and I can't wait to go back!!!

Hi Cecil: Great specs.

I realize performance is what counts and our MINIs are great at that. But I wonder what color combo you selected and whether it was an obvious choice for you. I changed my mind so many times that I'm curious about others' experiences with that.

Best wishes.

DeiceBigelow,

Yep, I bought my Mini S through Pentagon Car Sales here in Heidelberg, Germany.

>Base price was $19,150.00 !

> The color I ordered (Space Blue) was an additional $450.00.

>Total delivery price (including dealer installed options) came to $35,644.00 !

>You can save a few bucks ($$$$) if you drop the JCW Sports Suspension ($945.00) and the 18" JCW Wheels ($2,334.00) !

Thanks for the note and I hope you order your Mini soon. I don't know if the total price tag would be that much cheaper here in Germany or not. The list price for mine on the webpage was $20,600.00, but here in Germany it was $19,150.00. It's a few hundard ($$$) cheaper! Now is that enouth to keep you from ordering one there in the states, don't know. Anyway, good luck and stay in touch.

Later,

Cecil
