After looking for the last two years, saving up some cash, and watching prices…..I finally bought one. Originally I wanted a used dark gray….but went to the local Dealer (Brecht in SoCal) to let the wife test drive a Mini and ended up with an 05 in red. It was on the show room floor and had all the options (plus more) that I wanted. A great price as well considering what used ones are going for.

Having owned BMWs, 911s, A-4s, and a Boxster……….this one is sweet.

Great looking car. Looks as though it was well-spec'd by the dealer. Have fun. I guess you are in Carlsbad which is a beautiful area. I will be working a lot in Coronado over the next couple years and I love that whole coast. Lucky you.

 

Very sweet car indeed, congrats. Just like you I was thinking used and ended up buying new.
Now if only that breakin period wasn't so long.
