towing mini cooper

I asked if a mini could be toed behind motorhome. I called REMCO
[ 1 800 228 2481 ] they said it would be OK with stick. Auto they sell what it takes.

What about using a 2 wheel tow dolly and hooking the rear wheels up to it so the miles don't add up (or do they not add if the car is not on?)
