Just bought my 05 MCS hyper Blue w/white top & mirrors here in Hawaii. Did my first DITYs on the alarm. was easy, but, I was told after the fact that the 05's don't come with a tilt sensor and the alarm siren seems to fit diff in the actual housing clamp it comes with, but it was still very easy and I skipped putting in the new light stalk because it's only a light and it saved $100 and the alarm still works just fine. Looking forward to participating in the club events here on Hawaii. God Bless.

 

i was told that the new 05 alarm has the siren and tilt as one piece together. I am surprised that it worked without the stalk i assumed it was part of the overall circuit and needed to be there. Oh well i still would like to have it cause its a visual representation and i am a visual person

 

Cool color combo, we also did the same except also did the white wheels.

As for the alarm did you then go to the dealer to have it activated or did it work without that?
