Last Saturday my wife and I were on our way to Home Depot in my hopped up 2500 Dodge P/U when we passed a Cooper dealership, actually a VW dealership with some Mini's on the lot. I recently started a job 45 miles from the house and the Dodge was killing me in gas cost. On a lark I thought "Let me see if I can fit into one of these things." I am 6'5", 250 lbs.

Well three hours later I was driving it home, never looked back. What a fun car, I just love it.

Other than the obvious stereo upgrade, what are the most common things people do to these things?

 

First of all welcome to our little MINI comunity . If you want to start customizing your MINI look at the sponsor listings here at NAM to give you some ideas . My first suggestion would be getting some new wheel/tires but you can always start with a cup holder, your choice

 

Just DON'T do a shorty antenna!!!!!! Things spiral horribly out of control once that happens!

Tell us, what color is your MINI? Is it a Cooper or a Cooper S? What options are presently on the car? Pics? Inquiring minds..............

I think what you do to it is partially determined by what you want to do. If you want more speed or more bling (or both).
