It has been one week since i traded my GMC Yukon for a British Racing green Mini S, automatic. White roof and mirror caps, white bonet stripes. Tan leather. Sports and and pemium packages. And it is pure joyuse pleasure. I found it on the lot at "Universal Mini" with everything I dreampt of, and the only thing I added I didn't. I hadn't wanted a sun roof, but I think I will come to be happy for it.
As it is still in break-in i haven't really opened it up, but even taking it easy I am very impressed with this transmision. I comute 1.5 hours a day, stop and go so going back to manual was well out of the question. Did I mention i love this trany????

Gass Milage was ***** at first, (16,17 mpg), but after 220 miles it is getting better and better.

My only wish is it had a bit more umph in launching, 1st gear. But maybe once its aproved for auto i may have to look into JC up grade.

 

congrats on the MCSa! i'm sure there are a few more cost-effective ways to improve first gear launch than the JCW

p.s. of all the screennames on NAM, i must say ur's is the funniest i've seen

BTW, I really like the tan leather with the BRG--very earthy. Do you have photos, then?
