It is the beginning of what is to be a great relationship of fun, sharing and discovery. I am not new to Mini, as back in the 60's and 70's I rallied mine to a level of fun that has been stored in my memory long enough. I have sold Mini, fixed them too and though of owning another. I just bought one not more than a month ago, and I have to say that it has restored my soul to when as a young punk took his first look at this tiny thing with such a big heart. My name is Orlando Burgos - Orly to friends. I am a former military and commercial pilot, restoration shop owner and now a guy who tried retirement and fortunately failed at being idle, so as a retired person turned out to be good at broadcasting and photojournalist, plus owning travel related businesses. In due time, and if permitted in this forum, I will share more of what I do; and how to be part of what I do as well. I think interactivity is the key to nourishing the best times and best friendships. My car is a 2008 Fire Engine Red basic stick shift convertible with more miles than I would prefer but it is a great car that I am enjoying it maybe way too much. I am looking forward to sharing some great times with members and functions. I love the sense of adventure of the open road. Looking forward to meeting many of you very soon... My family has been great with my craziness of storing my comfortable big car for a pocket size bomb, and all I can say is how grateful I am for their support as well. See you all on the road to fun-ville...
