Hi Everyone,

Wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking for a few months doing as much research as I could while finding the perfect R53 project. My primary needs were 2005-2006 S 'slicktop' manual. I wanted something with no accidents, mods or rust.

I finally found and bought one from SoCal, waiting for it to arrive to east coast next week!

I plan to strip car down and build it back from ground up as a fun summer car/collectible. I've already started to source as many JCW parts as I can. So far I've gotten R56 JCW Brembo's & R53 JCW Aero Sides. They're getting hard to find, just like the old R53 tuners in US...

Yup. Pictures, without pictures it didn't happen. Strongly recommend a heavier adjustable rear sway bar and Bilstein performance struts.

Thanks!

Just got a JCW head, and also picked up a set of Ohlins R&T’s on sale!

not sure if I should go for a 22mm or 25mm rear sway, any recommendations?

Here she is on the truck:

Love that Falcon… we had an 87 ford falcon in Argentina,

don’t see many blacktop chilis. Glad you found what you wanted.
