Hey everyone!

Super excited to be able to start posting on here and interacting with the Mini Community. I recently got my hands on a well maintained 2006 Mini Cooper S Factory JCW.

When I was a kid my dad took me to "The Italian Job" in theatres and ever since I have thought these things were cool as hell. I specifically remember being in highschool and speccing out my JCW on the mini website thinking one day I was going to buy one brand new. Funny how as a kid you don't have any real concept of money and how coming from a poor family, buying a brand new mini likely wont be in the cards for a very very long time haha.

Anyhow, its been a solid 18 years since then and I managed to get myself in a career and put away some money, saw this beauty on craigslist and realized I'd be able to obtain my dream car after all. (plus the r53's are way cooler than the new minis to me anyway)

It's got just over 150k KM on it and a lot of the big maintenance items have already been taken care of by the previous owner who had planned to keep it long term. Sadly for them life took a turn and they needed a bigger vehicle, I promised to take good care of it for them.

Anyway that's my long story, been loving the car so far and look forward to talking with you guys!
