A Hello from Germany!

Hey there,

I'm Nis (weird name. I know) and I just recently got myself a Mini Cooper S R55 Clubman. As every Mini probably, mine is a temperamental little fella and it already had some problems.
A few times I came across some threads on this forum which were quite helpful. That and the friendly and respectful interaction convinced me to make an account here.

I really like to try and fix my stuff on my own, even and probably especially stuff doomed unfixable (There is just some special kind of pride after fixing something someone said was impossible to do).

I hope I can be a valuable addition to the community, even though I'll probably start by asking questions rather than answering them. ; )

Thank you.

For sure!

I've got this drive folder with some pictures of the car: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...cz?usp=sharing

The photos are a bit older though. I made them right after I bought him. Since then I put new rims on him and gave him a thorough clean inside out as well as some polish. I also cleaned the engine bay (Got it so clean, you could eat off of it ). It was very greasy and full of oil residue. I will add a few new pictures to the folder later.

I know condition is far from perfect, but I'm working on it.

Edit: Also note that the pictures in there are unfiltered. It was every single one I shot that day. So they may be kind of weird/bad angles/not sharp.

Edit 2: Uploaded one (yeah. Just one) new picture with the new (OEM) Rims and of the cleaned engine bay. He'll probably get a real photoshoot with good pics sooner or later though.

Pretty easy to post images in line here... just click the little picture icon thing in the quick reply bar, paste an image url, or locate in your device and click upload.
