New To Board, Picking up my MCS tomorrow..

Hello, Im Art. 19 and from NJ.
Well after a long years struggle with my 2002 BMW 330Ci All kinds of stuff just kept going wrong with it. Till recently the Motor finally went at 95K miles, Car is now at Rogue Engineering getting a new motor and swapping from a 5 speed to a 6 speed. Then im gonna sell it. Tonight i bought a 2004 Red MCS with a black, black int. Absolutley love it, funnest car i have driven and its under full warranty and all service is free., alot of people are giving BS tho. Im thinking i made the right choice in switching in a New MCS. What is there i should know about my new car? And how does everyone like there Minis?

To get into reverse, slap the shifter over to the left and push forward, you don't have to push down. I think that's the only secret!

Oh, and keep the revs under 4500 for the first 1250 miles. (I'm sure someone will correct me if I got those numbers wrong!)

Everyone loves their MINIs!

I'm sure you made the right choice to go with the MCS, but I'm not sure fixing up your BMW before selling it was the right choice. Are you going to be able to get enough from the buyer to make up for your investment?

Kinda. Be relatively nice to the powertrain for about the first 900 (no burnouts, dragging, track days, etc.), the engines always seem to "snap outta it" about then. After 900 miles, drive it like you stole it!

happy motoring

My 04 MCS is the best thing I ever did to make the commute to work more enjoyable, I now map out the best curves for my route
