Back in a Mini again after 10 years! Woohoo
Had an R53 Cooper way back when and loved that little gokart. I am from England so Minis are a little more special to me than a nice honda etc.
Now my daughter is 1 month from getting her permit we needed a car (she is not driving the 911 or the Tesla P100D)
Her choice was the mini in black/black. After watching the market for 6 mths ( I am a big car guy and love the hunt for a good deal) we found a 2012 R56 Cooper S an hour away.
Well maintained stock car with one owner. Used for commuting and has 152k on it. Very scary but It drove great. No smoke, no codes and records of the usual replacement items. We plan on mods so the fact the shocks are dead is no big deal, time for coilovers.
Can't wait to contribute the NA Motoring. You have already been a huge help. Now, try to keep me from going full stage 3 on this!!

Welcome and welcome back ! If you have any questions on your r56, feel free to ask me. I just finished a 2009 S R57 ( auto ), but am building out a 2010 R57 Laurel now ( manual ). So have been doing a lot of research on shocks, wheels, brakes, on top of the go fast stuff
