Salutations

So wife and I decided to buy a mini after having been passengers in several. Found a car and pulled the trigger 2009 FJCW pepper white with 65k on it. It’s a bit done up clutch, intake ,high flow cat, stage 1 tune. It’s a blast! my favorite thing about it so far so far is owning 20-30 something’s on the road then having them pull up next to me I roll down the fairly heavily tinted windows and the look on their faces when they see a 50 something guy with a ZZ Top beard smiling back at them … priceless
Im a DIYer for everything that doesn’t require a 10ton press on all of my other cars an intend to continue that with our minis. Yes I said minis, 2 weeks after buying the clubman a friend mentioned he was selling his 06 base r53 so we decided we’d buy it for our kids. Strangely I keep finding open car shopping apps and web pages with other jcw’s guess my wife doesn’t want to share. Who knows I may end up with another one.
I have a long list of questions I’m trying to answer from past posts once I get through them I’m sure I’ll be posting with any unresolved questions then again it’s a forum does anything truly get resolved
