R53 brought me back here :( :) haha

Hello all, happy to be back in this great community to share and learn from others. Recently picked up my Second 2006 r53 JCW competition edition years ago I owned 39/64 in Canada and this one is 35/64. Both of them are Chilli Red with white roofs. The current car is very healthy but will need so help to get it to be perfect. The Car has HSD coil overs that are not very forgiving, and the paint not sure where to start really looks like the car had gone to war. The drive train and under carriage are immaculate so I thought I would give this little guy a chance and see where we end up 5 - 6 years from now.

My older r53 purchased 10 years ago.

Your prior Comp edition looked/looks great but since no longer owned, time to show pics of #35. How bad is the exterior bodywork and paint? Correctible by PDR process or needs much more? WRT suspension, my R53 was much too low and stiff when purchased nearly 2 yrs ago, so my choice was a set of JCW "reds" in combo with the Koni Yellows already in play. When I bought those 1.5 yrs ago, some inventory still available in BMW Germany warehouse locations and likely some now still. Cart screenshot below shows what I paid back then in US $, so you'd need to adjust for exchange rate. IMO, a worthy option to coilovers with just 10mm drop from OEM S-spec spring rate. If were good enough for GP1 factory spec, still a good choice now. Doing so allowed +1 215/45R17 tires which essentially restored OEM spec ride height. Specific P/Ns then available and purchased were a good match for my lightly optioned R53. Pics in my sig thread if curious...

Ok, I'm game. What's a JCW Competition Edition? And there were only 64 made? Where were they made and what makes them special?

I like the white to red stipe combo on your previous one.
