R53 Modifications
The past 7 months of my mini r53 ownership i have been having fun making my car my own. So i decided to show the fourms what i have done and see what people think. Also please show me what you have done to the looks of your car small or big dont hesitate to share
I started with the m7 carbon shift ****.

Then i decided to go to work on the stock grill which seemed too girly for me personally. I went with the aero grill from outmotoring which was a pain to install especialy with a broken ankle.
However i managed all the grill modifications i had to do with a dremell.

I got really bored with my interior i wanted something to spice it up. since i am a skater and made regular trips to skate shops i would always get a few stickers with my purchases. I had no use for all of them until now. A nice sticker bomb for those boring downtubes would do
Everything was looking good, from the color of your MINI to the first few mods. But the deal breaker for me is the stickers. But the best thing about a MINI is personalization. So
I wish someone out there in MOD LAND would make the lower aero grill modifications for us lazy folks, so it can just be ready to put in the bumper when we open up the box, dammit... It is crazy that nobody has thought about doing that. I'd easily pay a healthy percentage more for that part if it came to me ready-to-install.
The fact that it is a P.I.T.A. to modify is why I haven't pulled the trigger on the purchase of the aero grille yet.
Yours looks great; made me jealous...

Outmotoring has two versions of the grilles one needs modifications and is a pain in the butt, but the other snaps right in, call them if you dont see it on thier site.
06 cooper S that I've had since new. Mods are:
- shorty antenna
- white front side markers in wheel arches
- tinted windows
- JCW upper and lower grille (it was not hat bad of a project folks, just do the low part too.)
- DINAN exhaust
- DINAN CAI
- DINAN stage 1 software
- OZ wheels (forgot the model) for summer
- Michelin alpin winter tires on stock 17 inchers
All the above mods on the R53 were done within the first year. Been enjoying it ever since.

Fredoin, that's beautiful. Mine is the same colour except I have the rally stripes. I was considering getting an aero grille and now thanks to this pic, I have a pretty good idea of what it might look like
