H8WERK New To NAM

Hello to all,
Just wanted to introduce my self to what I feel is one of the best Mini Forums around. I admit I have lurked for quite some time, gathering a wealth of knowledge from the NAM "regulars". Thanks for sharing your collective wisdom!

Also wanted to comment on my 2004 BRG MCS winter weather worthiness. I commute 40 miles round trip a day in the snow belt area of western New York. The following makes those trips safe and enjoyable,
  • 15" steel rim/Bridgestone Blizzaks from the Tire Rack...great traction
  • Heated seats...great!
  • Heated windshield washers...wouldn't be without them
  • Heated seats...great!
  • Headlight washers...not sure but they look cool when activated
  • Traction control,ABS,DSC all work well
  • Great heater!
  • Looks Cool...regardless of season
I have commented because I've noticed questions by potential owners regarding the Mini as a "real" commuter car.

Hope to meet all of you at Fontana Village in May for the "Dragon Run"!

Thanks...H8WERK

Welcome - this is certainly one of the best MINI forums around - if not the best!

Glad your MCS is snow-worthy - but I'm even more glad that I don't have to worry about driving mine in the snow!

Hello MINIclo

Thanks for the welcome. Having watched the news over the last week or so I don't know which is worse...the rain in California or the snow here in the east! Hope your trip is enjoyable...gotta go know, the driveway needs to be cleared of another 8" of snow

"H8WERK" (I really do)
