New forum member here. I bought a R53 last year, which was one of the more obtainable cars on my bucket-list. It rides like a 1-ton truck and the lumbar support has a special way of killing my back, but I still love driving it. Listening to that supercharger spin always makes me smile. Car came with some basic mods from the previous owners: some JCW cosmetics, winter and summer tires and wheels, some poly bushings, CAI and exhaust, dealer conversion to the chrono package (which sold me on the car), silicon rad hoses and a bunch of other parts.
I am now in the middle of my second major winter project on it. Last year was front suspension work, this year is input shaft seal leak (and oil and coolant leaks, stupid German cars). I suppose that's what I get for buying a car coming up on 20 years old from a manufacturer who apparently used rubber from the last century.
I've been a long-time lurker on these forums, but I had a question I couldn't find an answer for so I made an account. My question is regarding McLeod Clutches for mini (see my post in the general discussion section).
