Greetings from Wyoming

Proud owner of two Minis; R53, R60. Both have been through the parts ringer in the last year with clutches, supercharger rebuilds, and gaskets of every sort. Currently chasing down a turbo issue with the R60. I was warned that Minis are both addictive and maintenance nightmares, and I can say, the warnings were justified. Our R53 turned over 200k miles last week, something I don't see much of with these cars, so I'm proud of that milestone. Anyway, glad to be hear and look forward to learning and sharing my Mini experiences.

Mark

Love me some Wyoming!

Heading to Montana and Wyoming over the next week or so with a group of undergrads on a geology field trip to Glacier and then Yellowstone. Was just there with a mapping class last weekend in the Sundance area. One of the most overlooked states, IMO - but Wyomingers (Wyomers? Wyomans?) - anyhow, you probably like it that way!

Welcome!

Wyomingites do enjoy our space, privacy, guns and outdoors! My next project after the current R60, is to build an offroad R60; lift kit, suspension, etc. for use on the trails. I see Jeeps and Toyotas all day long. Imagine showing up to a group event with lifted R60 All4. The drivetrain is going to present the biggest challenge as there isn't any options to regear the R60's transfer case that I'm aware of...
