Greetings.

LONG time motorhead, car and motorcycle enthusiast, soon to be a Mini owner, specifically a 2009 S Vert with the Aero package and manual. Car has been well cared for, easily driven with 80K miles, new clutch last year. Am buying from a good friend for a great price. It's a pretty little thing, some kind of off white metallic (I think) with brown stripes and top, and pretty loaded.

I've always been interested in the Mini, but never in a place or had motivation to buy one. I have a collection of cars & motorcycles to include Porsche 912, Mustang Bullitt, 5 Guzzi's, G Body 442, and my daily driver a 2017 Tundra TRD PRO. Over the years, I've owned GTI's GLI's Saabs, M3, and a host of Jeeps. In 2007 a buddy of mine bought an 07 Mini Cooper S, and I remember it being a blast, but I had an M3 at the time, so kept what I had.

Fast Forward to now. I was looking for a fun small, reasonably priced Vert for SWMBO and I to poke around on, and for city commuting. The Tundra is too big and thirsty, and the 2020 Bullitt is not a commuter or city car.

I know NOTHING about the car, and have over the years enjoyed the community and comradery of forums, to include the original SAABNET one of the earliest list serves (yeah, I'm old).
