Greetings all,
A few months back I bought a 2006 Cabrio for my commute car. Been lurking on this site since then, learning all I can about the various issues the car came with. A wealth of information contained within these pages for which I am grateful.
Loving my little blue drop-top and happy to be joining the community.

Deelighted to be the first to welcome you to the pack. I am hard core cabrio. My first two cars were early 60's British roadsters. There is a lot to wade thru on this forum. One area to learn and become religious about is regular attention to normal wear areas and service intervals under the bonnet. These li'l guys are NOT drive 'em and forget 'em grocery getters. What they are is motoring at its best...top down.
And two other things:
1: Pictures, dammit, pictures! Without pictures, it didn't happen.
2. My four reasons for running up the canvas.
A: It is raining.
B: It is snowing
C: My co-pilot/navigator is whining about being too hot or cold and I can't hear the supercharger
D: Some guys are throwing empty beer cans in the back seat and didn't invite me.

I think it's gonna be difficult but not really impossible. I think that you have to use one of those bios chip clips, find the right chip, dump it, modify it and flash it back. At least that's how I did it on a T40 Mainboard back in 2017. Gave me a real headache but it was worth it.
Welcome.
