Beaking the ice

I have actually been reading the threads here since 6-03 but decided to introduce myself. I just picked up my "05" MCS BRG/BRG last week, I traded in my "03" MCS CR/BLK.
The last one I had a 19%, Alta intake, Borla, Helix Short Shift, Alta springs and sway bar. This time I had the JCW installed (I know the motor heads and tuners will have a field day with that) I felt better with the waranty and resale. I will let you know the difference after run-in. Any one who has some pics of stripes, I would like to see them. I plan to get those next.

Welcome to NAM lurker!

Loking forward to seeing some pics of your car. Check out the galleries for stripes, there are so many configs you'll be amazed. Also check some of the vendors for stripes.

Brg/brg

Welcome fellow BRG driver!

I am thinking about some bonnet stripes also. White w/pinstripes, frost, or reflective to accent with the white roof/mirrors. You have more choices with matched roof.

I also have a BRG/W which came with stock stripes. See the travel section on breaking in by driving it from LA to Guatemala in five days. I've been thinking of it as the Green Hornet though I know there are others. Maybe we'll go with the Spanish version: Avispon Verde!

Though I find the Works package very interesting the stock 2005 MCS performs just great. However, I'll be interested to read the future comparison in the Works versus aftermarket.

Saludos

I'm jealous of you!

Hey Man! It's -jt.
All I need to do now is save up and get The Works Kit like you've got! Then I'll be happy. Oh, and I'll be wanting to upgrade my stereo to Harmon/Kardon as you've got. Oh, and then I'll want aftermarket rims such as those Kosei's. And, I want the JCW Brake Kit. And I'll start thinking about the JCW suspension kit (the jury is still out--I'd like more stiffness, but not necessarily more harshness).
And I'm waiting for my stubby antenna.
Were does it end?
