Back into Mini

It has been awhile. Forgot all my credentials so signed up again.

We started with a 2012 Conv Cooper S but that was mostly my wife's car. Then left and came back with a 2016 (I am pretty sure) JCW Cooper. Was fairly active and it was my DD as well as my monthly AX car. The bug bit and went from that to a GT3.

Back now again as all toys are gone and looking to get into a fun weekend car. It will be another convertible and if I can find a decent used one a JCW, if not a S.

Anything new I need to watch out for in the newer models? Doesn't look like things changed much except for now the 22's look a lot different.

Here are a few old pics, everyone likes pics.

Welcome!

2022's have the newer LCI front and rear end. Gauges changed a little,

Thanks for the reply. It sure has been challenging. I know it is a sellers market and not the best time to be buying but man some of these vehicles for sale is like pulling teeth to get info and return calls. Trying to go private party but not a lot out there. Most are dealers or Carvana.

Welcome back. What part of the world are you in? What generation are you looking for?

Thanks. Kentucky. Looking for a “newer” one. Like 2018 or newer. Has to be convertible. S or JCW.

Looks like we finally found a car. Wow that was crazy. I get it and it is NOT the time to be a buyer. Had a JCW convert. on the line. It was a long ways away so I was doing my due diligence on condition shipping etc. That dealer literally sold it out from under us as the deposit was going down.

Finally found a slightly used 2019 with 20K miles Cooper S. This one it looks like we can drive to go get albeit still a few hours away. I will make a proper intro thread once acquired.

A 2019 still comes with a 4yr/50K warranty correct? So we will have some time left on warranty?

Cheers.

Well after another used car fell through with a dealer we ended up going full send and just buying new. There was so much junk out there or if it was nice they sold for crazy pricing. Some almost at MSRP for 19's. We will get it delivered some time next week. Let the modding begin.
