Wait or Order

I'm a newbie here. I just wanted to get opnions from you mini owners. I'm in the market of buying a 2nd car and now decided to get a convertible hands down. I've contemplated with 3 cars, SLK, TT roadster, and the new mini s convertible.

For the budget I have, (30K), I can pretty much get a used TT and SLK and obviously a new minis s convertible. Now I know the car is pretty new but not too sure about the reviews it is getting.

Any thoughts is appreciated.

Although perhaps biased, you can find a lot of review information on this site. Scroll down and check out the links on the right side of the page. Good luck; I'm sure you'll make the right decision....

did you look at the honda S2k? That is also a hot little number, great power, good handling, and lots of customization ability.

BTW, I loved my mini to death and miss it every day.

Ya gotta drive them to know what you want.

As for me, well I'd take a new SLK over any of them but not an older one. Not sure about the TT but people who have driven them say they do not have much pep (they are very heavy) - I'd only consider the new 3.2 engine with the DSG Of they three you list I'll bet the Mini is the most fun to drive.

PS: S2k commits a big 'vert no no by not having seat heaters

Thanks Eval,

I've test driven all three and Mini seems to be the most fun to drive!

Go for it, but get the seat heaters for the cool top down cruises!
