New owner r53 MCS

Hello, my name is Ryan. I'm 19. Just bought a 2005 Mini S. Harman Kardon, Xenon headlights, 15% reduction SC pulley, drilled and slotted rotors (not sure if they're stock size or upsized), other than that the car is stock and in pretty decent shape for 125k miles. Runs like a top. Here to to learn about these cars and because it's my daily so I'll need advice when it inevitably breaks xD. Thanks for having me! Here's my car:

Sweet! Grab yourself some Mother's Back to Black for the plastic trim. It will make your Mini look 200% better.

yes I think they look very nice...they have curb rash though. Probably will swap them out for something smaller and lighter at some point, I need to figure out if the aftermarket brakes would clear 15" wheels

Another new MCS owner

Hi Ryan,

My name is Carl, and I just bought an '06 in astro black that looks almost identical to yours last Saturday. Congratulations on your car! I am sure loving mine. It has a lot of the same issues - a little curb rash, a couple small door dings, but it's pretty clean. I picked up on the Mother's recommendation for the faded plastic. That's the kind of info we're here for!
Here's a pic of the car when I picked it up:

Looks great man! I also got the trim restorer although I haven't gotten the chance to use it yet...I plan on getting 15x8 wheels with some 50 or 55 profile tires once I have some extra money...first I'll do a milltek exhaust. Have fun with your ride!
