First mini

Hi all..im a new mini owner from queens ny...picked up this 2005 cooper s r53..4 codes and overheating..got it for a good price..im gonna service the supercharger and check/change water pump and seals..im not familiar with minis so any advice,tips or help is welcomed..ive gotten this far..is there any way to get the belt off without that special tool?

Welcome. I would get a Schwaben scan tool we sell, the generic ones only show so much. On that ABS sensor ours will tell you which side. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d-q-and-a.html

@ECS Tuning. Thanx ..i bought this belt tool off amazon for 23bux.i think it damaged the tensioner..it worked the first few times while i was trying to get accustomed to it..then kept slipping and i noticed some metal chipping off trnsioner..i was able to get the belt offf but never saw the hole to put the pin..im going to remove the tensioner and examine..ill look into the scan tool.. anywhere on here got a repair manual b4 i go buy one..about to take head off but i gotta go buy whatever that socket is to take out those plugs out to get to th




e timing chain guides..heres where im at

This engine mount bolt snapped shouldn't this mount just lift off..it wont budge..used a pry bar and even used the belt tensioner tool and nothing..am i missing something? Dont want to break anything before i go all bruce banner on it
