My love affair with MINIs began in 2006 when I ordered my first JCW vert. Wife at the time (subsequently bannished) pitched a hissy fit until I sold my beloved car... After the bannishment, I located an 05 JCW vert and once again enjoyed the good life... until a crazy lady rear ended me and totaled my second car. Heartbroken, I quickly located an 06 “S” vert, but she had one of the cursed automatic transmissions and I was ONE MONTH past the class action suit cutoff date! Despondent, with mixed emotions, I traded the clunky vert in on a Cadillac CTS-V coupe. That was fun... fast forward to three days ago. A friend told me his chronologically gifted mother was trying to sell her 2013 JCW Roadster vert... a very low mileage, pristine garage queen! The spark was there and fire rekindled... I’m baaaaaaaaaack!
