Just purchased a 2006 MINI Cooper S. I previously owned a 2004 MCS, which I had purchased new and owned about two years. My new MINI has some mild upgrades that include 15% reduction pulley and short throw shifter. The car is in great shape and well taken care of. The interior looks brand new. Anyway, hoping to learn from the forum and possibly making additional upgrades such as LSD and possibly aftermarket exhaust.
