Hey everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. Just picked up a 12 Countryman S All 4 6 Speed yesterday.

My wife is super excited. Car isn't going to see a ton of miles as it's the secondary car for us after my chevy duramax.

Jake

Welcome to the forum. Post some pictures when you get a chance.

A lot of cars aren’t getting many miles these days.

Well unfortunately neither is ours YET! We've owned the car for 2 weeks but it's been at the dealership the entire time. On the drive home, an error appeared on the dash, so we dropped it off at a sister dealership closer to our home. I talked to the salesman about a possible recall before buying and he thought it was possible that was not totally fixed yet but would make sure he made it right. Turns out, the turbo is on the outs... So they are replacing the entire turbo setup on their dime.

Kinda sucks not having our mini to drive, but that fix for free is well worth the wait.

Good you caught it when they would cover the repair. Most of us have a backlog of repairs when we get our MINIs. Mine was in the shop for a week when I got it but only routine maintenance in the 3 years since.

Absolutely... That was not something i wanted to take on but could have if I had to. Everything else seems tight so i'm hoping for only regular maintenance for awhile.

Welcome to the forum and the family. I have been taking mine out at least 4 times a week at 430am or so for a drive, roads are clear, 30-40 minutes on highway, might open her up a bit on a couple of long flat stretches.
