New member intro,

Hello all,
I am a new R53 Mini Cooper S owner and I look forward to learning more about it and meeting members in the group. I currently live in Stafford, VA area and this mini became A new hobby for me. The goal is to customize it and make it a fast little car. I’m not looking at hitting the track with it but I definitely want it at that level of capability. The car is over all in good condition but it does have its problem areas but I am looking forward to hopefully trying to fix them. Thank you for reading, stay safe and healthy out there.

Hey there! I'm Andrew and my new to me F56 goes by Bowser (king of the Koopas!). I am a truck driver and am not at home a lot, but I do love wrenching on my fleet of vehicles when I'm on hometime. I also own a 2002 Lincoln Town Car, a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, and a 98 Honda Shadow Aero that smells like an old Nova! I have recently moved to Vero Beach, FL and plan on doing more mods to Bowser as well as taking it to the track. This is my first Mini, and it won out over a Fiat 500 Abarth for my project car. I have already done a lot to it in the short time I've owned it (since 11-19) even though I've only been home to drive it for a week since purchasing. I've installed Sparco wheels with Pirelli tires, Dinan Elite tuner, Eventuri intake, Scangauge2, Borla exhaust, as well as most of the blackout kit (haven't got the front clip off to change the grille surround). Next week I will be installing a Forge intercooler, Racing Dynamics boost pipes, FTP rear intake pipe, ProSport boost and oil pressure gauges, as well as some cosmetic upgrades. I have been checking out a lot of threads on this site since I bought the car, and look forward to finding out more info about this awesome driving machine. I will upload a photo once I can get my tablet to let me. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum and the MINI experience. Are there many winding back roads in your area to experience the MINI in its natural habitat?
