Hello all, My name is Chuck.
I recently bought a 2007 Mini Cooper S. I got it as a project to fix and get back on the road to enjoy. It is going to be quite an effort as I fear the engine at least needs the head gasket replaced if not more. The previous owner overheated the engine and didn't stop until the engine wouldn't start anymore. I'll do lots more reading of the forums before I start asking any questions because I can see there is a ton of knowledge already on here.

Thanks in advance,
Chuck

Welcome,
For sure you need to do some diagnosis and see what all you really need as being overheated that bad often isn't fixable and is better off replacing the entire engine.
