Just picked my baby up tonight!
I've been waiting for this moment for a little over 5 weeks now and it has finally come. Too bad I have to go easy on the motor and can't push it just yet. how long should I wait till I start to mod? well....just wanted to say hi, thanks!

Well, the toughest part is over....which is the wait. Mind you, 5 weeks isn't that bad.
There several threads on here about breaking the motor in. Try a search.
As for mods, I'd at least wait until the car's broken in. But that's just my opinion.
Cheers, welcome, and congrads on your new ride,

Congrats Mark..... 5 weeks, wish mine was that short
. I ordered in July 02, and got it Dec 28th 02.
But it was all worth it. There is still plenty of fun to be had under 4500rpm. Just have fun it will go by in no time.

Seriously, it depends on the kind of mod you are talking about. Cold air intake = now. ECU upgrade ?? maybe later in my opinion. short shifter now, Whalen shift ****, now. Tires/rims now. Check pocketbook and decide. Driving school ??
Where are you located?
AND, Welcome to NAM.
Earl
thanks guys! yeah i think i will do the cold air intake first and then pulley later. I live in hoboken NJ and it is freezing here right now. I know 5 weeks isn't bad, i shouldn't be complaining. no matter how many weeks the wait, they are soooo worth it.
