Hey Everyone I just joined the group. I just purchased a 2010 cooper s clubman . I figured this would be the best route to go for advice and where to get products .
My first thing to do with the car is the first flex connector after the manifold , I was originally going to use the universal one from an auto zone but realized I will have to cut the pipe coming down from the manifold as it has a flange/bell end to accept the original flex connector.
So I don’t t want to screw myself in the future I want to go through the options.
Im seeing OEM/ manufacturers one for $150 ($25 for a universal) is that the going rate? If I’m going to spend that much on that part maybe I should upgrade the whole exhaust system ? I would personally like to just replace it with the right part as cheap as possible now and then do the whole system in the future when I have the cash to spend. Your thoughts please.
