New from TX!

New member, but not new to the addiction. I’m on my 2nd MINI. Just picked my 02 JCW a week or so ago. Previously owned an R56. Did the “big truck” thing for awhile, but nothing like driving a MINI. Always wanted a JCW and after ditching the truck, found him out of luck, and not knowing that it was a JCW until I went to test drive it. Honestly not even sure the owner knew what he had. Nevertheless, I snagged it with only 103k on the odometer and I of course can’t help but driving it like I stole it. I’ve done the muscle car scene and truck scene before and I can honestly say that I have never felt more at home than with my fellow MINI owners. I will post pics tomorrow as it has been wet on and off lately, so bear with me. As you introduce yourselves, feel free to show off your rides. As we’re all in “lockdown”, it can only be the next best thing to a meet. Take care everyone and be safe.

Welcome and Congrats, that is a nice find if it's a JCW as the kit was really expensive add on in 2002.
