Post and hopefully future owner

Looking at purchasing a used either R55 or F54 in the next few weeks and looking for advice. We had a coupe for about 5 years ago and the we loved it, but the kids get bigger and the so do the groceries.

R55 I would get a 2011+, driving the new F54 JCW and other F54 models it more soft on the suspension but loaded with much more features, feels like a sedan and you can get some great interior options.
