Hello from Delaware
New owner of MCS 05 Silver/Black. A great car and loads of funto drive. Also own a 1966 Mustang GT 271Hp/289ci. I have owned many other imported performance cars from Porsches to BMW's. I have to say this Mini really is a lot of fun. I am interested in doing a some performance modifications one I find out what is the best bang for the buck.
Congrats!!!
There are 3 primary mods you will probably hear about the most.
Performance (HP) Alta Intake and Alta 15% reduction Supercharger pulley.
For the money (about $375 for both) these will give you the absolute most gains for the money! Talk to Randy at Webb Motorsports (sorry gotta plug someone, he rocks!!!!)
Handling- Rear Sway bar. I cannot say for experience as mine is in the mail and should be installed this week but this does change the handling of the car dramatically! Tightens it up unbelievably.
Anyway, enjoy your new ride!
Chris

Chuck-
Keep us posted and do not hesitate to ask people here on the forum any questions. There are no dumb questions no matter how much of an idiot I know I am... at least that is how everyone makes me feel
