Greetings and Salutations!
Hey everyone, Here's my Initial post for joining the forum.
I'm getting back into driving again after going without a license for 10 years, 10 long years in which I swore I would not drive unless it was legit with a license. I had to give it up due to financial reasons and fines but in the end it was for a good cause... My last few cars have been (before the lack of driving) a 1993 Eagle talon (6 bolt 4g63) and a 1990 s13 chassis 240sx, when I own/drive a vehicle it cannot just be any box on wheels it has to be a car that can really be driven and from what I've seen and heard, read and reviewed.. my next car should do just fine.
What leads me here and I'm quite happy from what I've been reading so far.. is research on the 2005 Mini-Cooper, this will be my next car as I've been given the chance to buy one for $500 Canadian (Payments already being made). I'm still around $400 to go on the fines and then the run around of getting the license back but I'm pretty excited to be getting behind the wheel of a Mini-Cooper! It's not an "S".. and it's auto but this can all be changed in time, I've seen so many engine swaps on YouTube it's actually amazing what can be fit in a MC. As for now I'm looking forward to great mileage and a car that should track like it's on rails!
Thanks for having me.. oh, I'll be tracking my progress with "The Mini" on my YouTube when the time comes so I look forward to sharing that.
