Another R53 owner here, 03 Silver R53 6sp JCW. Been around Minis for years. My mother had a 02 R53 for years(over 200k mi long gone), 2012 Justa(212k getting timing chain, and vacuum pump), and now a turbo F56 hatch.

I'm no stranger to doing my own wrenching. I've done light work on the first two but nothing major. Also have an 02 Ford Lightning, that I've done plenty of work on, definitely a little experience with blowers.

Was on Lightning rodder for years. Helping where I could, sharing any knowledge I had. Automotive painter(12yrs)here, if I can help in any way don't hesitate to ask. Very excited to be part of the community. Been lurking in the forums reading up on what I can.
