Hello everyone!

My name is Kevin Ng. I am from San Francisco, CA in the Bay Area! Recently about a month 1/2 ago, I purchased a 2006 Chili Red Mini S for the wife. Currently has 147K on the odo. I am turning this into a project car even though it is bought for the wife .. Haha! The car is originally fully stock when I bought it. Just sanded down and recleared the OEM hazed out headlights during the weekend. Currently installed and wired Hella 500 Black Magic driving lights, Waymotorworks strut tower bar, and factory AUX as the wife cannot live without music. I also picked up a brand new Alta rear sway bar & Cravenspeed shifter retainer. I am planning to learn and do my own clutch & all major services along the way! Hope to meet some of you guys that reside in the San Francisco area/ Bay area!

 

Hello, the factory aux input is a must have for the gen 1 MINIs. Congrats and welcome to the forum.

 

That's great work for your wife's car. Hopefully, she'll make the most of it! Do you drive it much or are you just a really good husband?

These cars are made for the twisties, so get the suspension tightened up and better rear sway bar. (it matters!)
