Hi there! My wife and I purchased our 2009 Red Mini Cooper-S new last year. She arrived last October (2008). We got the 6 speed manual transmission. Works great here in Phoenix. Most likely not a good idea in San Francisco. Love the car. New to North American Motoring. I think we will enjoy the ride. Oh yea, we named her Miss Gracy Cooper after my wife's grandmother. She was kinda spicy too.

 

Welcome! I used to live in AZ - Tempe, Glendale, & PHX (in that order - college and beyond), and I now live in the Bay Area. I just picked up a pre-owned '07 Cabrio that I took up to S.F. for the first time on Friday night. The manual transmission was a blast, even on the hills! Think "The Italian Job" and you'll get the idea...such a great city car.
