You can never get away from a Mini after owning one. I've had a couple of 2-doors and a couple of Countrymans. I liked all of them. Last August I tried to downsize to only one car for the first time in many many years. I knew when I traded my 2015 Cosmic Blue Countryman in May of this year that I'd be back. Yesterday was the day when I decided I was finished looking at different Mini's bookmarked on my computer. Only the JCWs and MC Sports. By Thursday night I was serious about purchasing another and had it down to two cars. I picked up a 2016 Mini Cooper S, a little over 23,000 miles, routine maintenance completed as scheduled, for just a tad over $19,000. I'm spent this morning getting familiar with the center console center. I always loved having the needle speedo there but understand to remain competitive Mini had to put a tech screen somewhere.
I bought this from a Jeep dealership but they gave me a printout of everything they inspected and what they replaced. It came with a new set of Bridgestone tires, a new windshield, new locking lug nuts and window tint. I was shocked to see NO dents or dings on the nice Blazing Red paint and after really looking in detail this morning since I only glanced it over at the time of sale ... none of the normal wear and tear inside. The underside was smooth as butter and no signs of damage.
What can I say? I'm happy to be back driving a Mini Cooper S and glad to be back on the forum.
I need a refresher on forum rules for photo sizes. I hope this photo is not too big. I'll add more photos to the album later after I take some of my own.
