Hello all! I just wanted to introduce myself as I expect I will be diving into some threads soon.
I am the original owner of a 2003 R53 (Liquid Yellow/white roof & mirror caps, wheels) which now has nearly 150,000 miles on it. It is a fun and reasonably economical daily driver.
I was a member of this forum in late 2002ish when the Mini Coopers were new and my wife fell in love with them. We ordered our Mini and then waited 4 or so months for it to be built and delivered. Back then, there was a website where we could follow the build and one of the members had a thread where we could track the boat our cars were on as they crossed the Atlantic. It was so fun.
A lot has changed in all these years and I'm excited to asking and answering questions about these fun cars!
