New to everything Mini and forums
Hello everyone! I’m the new owner of a 2007 Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works (r52)! I’m new to this Forum thing and basically everything Mini related. I’m a previous Nissan enthusiast and a veteran gear head. I’ve got many plans for my car but I mostly want to install everything mini offered for this car to get the full experience. I’m not fluent with these cars so I appreciate any advice and experiences you’re willing to enlighten me with. I plan on owning this car until we run outta fossils lol.
Welcome to the forum and the MINI experience. In my humble opinion, you have purchased the best MINI available. Before you go wild purchasing the stuff that MINI offered, you may want to step back and decide what you want to accomplish. The answer may lead you to purchasing aftermarket modifications that MINI never offered, but create a better driving experience (as you define it).
All of the best suppliers for MINI support the forum and can help you find whatever you need.
First step should be to bring the MINI up to date with all maintenance and address any repair need that was put off by the prior owners.
Welcome to the MINI community.

Hi and welcome to NAM!
Though your Mini is a 2007, the R52s were gen 1s through 2008, so look into the gen 1 area, for helpful information on your 07 R52!
Congrats on your acquisition and let the fun begin!
There are two vitally important things: 1) only use 100% synthetic oil. 2) Make sure to only use premium fuel (high octane)
We would love to see it so post up some pics here!
