Hellow evryoane
Hello everyone , I'm a 35 years old frogeater, bought a 2005 R53 Jcw with 145 K km , those cars are pretty expansive here.
i've read lot of topics here (and minitorque), and because of the yellow jackets and our french's strike habits i must register an account here because my french fellows are very slow to answer in our french mini's bible.
My Mcs is stock except milltek header (genuine cat exploded visibly, i have it too), i have removed the ITG filter in the flap modded airbox, i'am curently checking the health of the car but i have already bought :
Craven strut tower defenders
Ie engineering camber plate
Koni Active/FSD
Powerflex front wishbone
and i'm looking for 17" moderated weight rims (Rota grid/team dynamics pro 1.2/Oz)
Lot of things to do this summer :
gearbox and motor oil servicing
supercharger and water pump servicing
brake fluid servicing
sorry for my english level , it is cultural, here is some pictures
:tongue_smilie:

Hello and welcome to the NAM family, Wolowizard!
Congrats on picking up an very nice 05 MCS JCW.
It is hard to tell, from your pictures, it looks like many things have been upgraded to aftermarket parts.
Has it got the JCW serial number on the cam cover? There are many fakes in the USA, but the serial number is unique to your Mini.
Give us a picture of the engine bay, as we like to see that too!
Thanks for joining!

Mine is an 06 with engine # S12376 and is the factory JCW install. I think you are a year ahead, so yours would be an 06 here. The limited slip differential is good, but a bit too weak! @25%!
We were not offered the Recaro seats in the USA. I wish I had them! (I have seen a couple sets here)
