Toronto Canada Two Minis

Hey folks. We have two MINIs in the family; the first is a 2004 R53 my wife bought new. She has had a tin of fun with it and it still goes well. Lowered, new bars front and rear, pulley and Dinan. You just cannot kill it. I just picked up a new F56 for her as well. So far I have put a Dinan power module on it, a strut brace ad NM rear bar. A K&N fresh air intake is also installed. Next phase will be a set of struts and lowering springs. She loves her MINI(s) and she acutally prefers it to her 61 flat floor E-type. We have a mix of cars in our family (I own a jaguar restoration facility) with a Scion tC, two STIs and my replica D-type (1956 Belgian D). So a mix of old and new. I am 64 and she is 60 this year. We are definitely the oldest MINI enthusiasts in our area. Thanks for letting me join and I look forward to participating on the forums.

MINIs rock!! :-)

Thanks Wayne. I started my Jag business as I transitioned from a corporate job (after 27 years with the company). It was wonderful. So, 23 years later I am still having fun messing with cars. I love track days; once we have our helmets on we are all equals. I love kicking the butts of guys in ther twenties when they are all full of themselves. My wife' F56 is a ton faster and (potentially) much quicker than the R53. I am still adding/changing bits to make it a balanced piece....currently playing with the roll axis.

MINIs are really a fun car, with lots of available bolt-on upgrades....
