Just another new guy....with a previously own Mini

So here was thinking, i’m Blessed enough to have three meals a day and I’m doing alright for myself two out of thee kids are adults living on their own. One teenager at home life is pretty good...So I went to the Dr for my physical and he said I need to eat less and exercise...so I joined the gym and went back to see the Dr and he wasn’t pleased with my progress so he recommended the Mini diet. I purchased a 2009 clubman and just after I get home it lights up,like a Christmas tree on the dash.. had to buy the Bentley book, which caused me to choose between fast food or book..skipped lunch for two weeks...ended up buying brake sensors seems one was defective. Went through car was antenna was washed off another two weeks no lunch.. and it’s a lot easier fitting in the mini now what a difference that new antenna made. Sure enough a week later lost 2nd gear, I did the 1st to 3rd for a while then began skipping breakfast and lunch till I was able to get a “new to me transmission installed” when I went back for a follow up with the Dr he was pleased with my progress and told me to keep it up... I do most of the work myself in place of the gym, but now I need the chiropractor seems I’m not as flexible as I once was.... all kiddding aside love the car, Reminds me of my first love a TR4 Trimuph it’s a blast to drive and bugger to work on..lol

The best part of the MINI diet is that instead of eating you go out driving. Any time you are not eating, you are loosing weight. That is the only diet that works for me.

Good point ECS. I think you may have found my secondary problem, although it is not warm enough to drive a convertible for ice cream in PA.
