Howdy from Indiana

I just purchased a 2012 Cooper S. I'll be reading lots to see what I'm in for as the car has a bad clutch. I believe I've narrowed it down to the clutch fork. Previous owner said she was driving to the store and it began to shift hard, then POP! - pedal stayed on the floor. I'm tearing into it slowly, as this is a very different animal than I'm accustomed to. Thanks in advance for any and all guidance!

Welcome to the forum. You have come to the right place for experts on every aspect of you new MINI. While I am not the expert, they should follow shortly with the guidance you need.

When you get a chance, post a picture or two of you new MINI.

Thanks for the welcomes! Here's the craigslist ad where I first saw it...

Clutch fork was broken. I'm going to replace the clutch, pressure plate, etc. I also figured it would be a good time to replace the control arm bushings and engine stabilizer mount bushing with the powerflex versions
