Hello from Catalonia!
I have been using bits of information from this forum since I purchased mi MCS, great place to find resources... Now it's time for me to get into giving information also, so I will explain a bit what I am up to...
My Mini is a Cooper S from 11/2017, Thundergrey. Nothing very exciting when it comes to extras, just Visual boost, 17" rims, no navigator, rear PDC... The car was already in stock, so I had to go with what there was.
BUT, I can¡t have my as sitting while my car is just as any other, so I started doing some changes.
I found in different sites the front and rear JCW bumpers at a really good price, and later the sport side skirts, also from JCW. I brought them to my paint shop and voila!, I have a boosted body now. The front bumper came from a JCW car that had front PDC, so I will retrofit this feature. I will explain how I did it should anyone here want to do it. It's easy... kind of.
That was not enough, so I went for the cup spoke wheels in 18". Just in case I took the ones that fit the JCW brake kit... just in case :-). These will be put next week.
However, my happiness level was still not to the top, so I dig around and found a bargain in a JCW tuning kit (the exhaust and power update) in UK, just as low as 800GBP. So I made it come to Barcelona to meet my little bastard.
My next move will be to retrofit the new Head Unit with Carplay and professional navigation. This will give me some headaches, especially since I don't find any parts for sale yet. If I am successful on that, the following (and possibly last) upgrade will be the JCW brake kit.
Regarding me, I am in my forties, I am a Sales Director although I studied photography. I love cars and the world around them, blues music (Van Morrison is my God on Earth) and Jazz, CiFi cinema and series, love engineering (it is my great mistake not to become one) and above all I am a father of two that love the Mini too.
I will be more than please to help anyone around, just let me know what you need and if I can I will give a hand.
Best from Catalonia!
Joan.
