Greetings! New to the forums. 2010 Mini Cooper Clubman. San Diego (La Mesa)

Hello!
I've had my Mini for a few years now (bought used with 70k on the Odo and just rolled over 100k a few months back) and finally have the time to really tear into it. I've been seeing my coolant level dropping for the last six-nine months and have decided that this is the weekend I track down the leak and fix it, come hell or high water. I've already stocked up on Zerex, some full synthetic oil, a new cabin filter, and if UPS cooperates I'll have some gear oil sometime tomorrow (figure I might as well tackle all the maintenance I've been putting off in one shot).

I'm a gear head with a '68 beetle rebuild in the garage that's a few months away from being back on the street (I like a small car with a tight turning radius that is fun to drive), but I'm no stranger to water cooled cars. I'm sure I will have some dumb questions as time goes on so apologies in advance! 😁

Welcome to NAM, I would change the waterpump, crossover pipe and thermostat. All three are know to leak or have catastrophic failure at this milage.

Welcome sounds like you got a little work going on.

I love the classic beetles too, would love to see it.
