R52 to USED F56 (things to lookout for)
Hey everyone,
New member here, I currently own an 05 R52, what a blast to drive! I'm looking to purchase a used 2015/2016 MCS F56 for under $17K; many are sub 25,000 miles so we'll still have a year or two of warranty. Are there any red flags to look out for when looking at the F56 (automatic)?
On the 3rd Gen Forums, I noticed many posts mentioning some drivetrain malfunction, and the fix was to go to the dealer for some software update. If you experienced this malfunction, has it happened again after the update?
